OMG, it's finished!!! WOOHOO!!!

This has taken me the last two or three weeks to do, argh, I'm slowly but surely sharpening my digital art skills. Honestly, I'm extremely pleased with how this one came out though the tree on the far right and the stream still kinda urk me a little, I re-drew them so many times that I finally just gave up and decided it was fine as is. Ah well! I really hope you like the art, it's a bit of a storybook piece I did for Asma'a *sp*, a very good friend's mother. Her husband will be having surgery soon, so please, prayers and good thoughts towards them both and their family are welcome! :floating:

Tools: Photoshop CS, Pen/Tablet, lots of celtic music ;)

Edit: WOW thank you for the daily deviation! I'm humbled, I honestly am not completely sure I deserve it there are so many talented artists out there, but hopefully all of you will get your chance to shine too! It's really just luck of the draw I guess. Thanks so much all of you, and thank you for the support! :hug:

Very nice, the colors on this are soft and even making it a piece that captivates and pleases the eyes. The simplicity at a glace and the detail of a closer look are amazing and add so much more to it. A nice warm and inviting picutre that you did an excellent job with.

Wow, I'm touched that you like it so much! :D I really put a lot of effort into it, I don't think I've erased and redone so many things on a piece of art as I did on this, haha. I'm so glad the hard work paid off! :hug:

this is realy nice liked it alot. you are just getting better and better. loved the whole theme of it. and the flowrs and the rays are so well done and looks SO great. and the texture of the trees are awesome. oh and the work on the girl cloths AND her hair is just a master picec. loved the colors and the drawing and the place and the balance of the colors and the feeling of it. 10/10. fav with out ANY 2nd thought
